Our Maja Radunovic Culafic, Petar Djurovic and Zlatko Imamovic took part in the BlueRights 2026 Conference in Budva on 26, 27 March, joining leading practitioners, academics, and policymakers in an important dialogue on the future of seafarers’ rights and welfare.
Maja and Petar had the privilege of contributing to the Practitioners’ Roundtable: Holistic Approaches to the Health, Welfare and Resilience of the Maritime Workforce, expertly moderated by Prof. Senka Sekularac Ivosevic.
Drawing on ABACO’s extensive experience in handling complex crew related claims, they offered seafarers practical guidance on how to act in challenging situations, emphasising the importance of legal awareness and understanding their rights.
We also thank the panelists Capt. Ivica Fazo (Shipmasters’ Association of Montenegro), Dr. med. Boris Coric (Association of Psychiatrists of Montenegro), Ms. Masa Stampic (Ministry of Maritime Affairs of Montenegro) and Capt. Aleksandar Mrsulja (Master Mariner) for their valuable insights and meaningful contributions to the Roundtable.
